An evening experiencing old-Beijing performance culture in Tianqiao, the home of folk entertainment. Tour the Tianqiao folk museum and a Qing-dynasty opera theater, fill up on closed-oven (menlu) Peking duck from a 600-year-old shop, then join the laughter of Beijingers at a Deyunshe crosstalk show. (Lao She Teahouse face-changing/acrobatics or Huguang Guild Hall Peking opera are alternatives.)
