The Kanazawa Bunko is a history museum of Kanagawa Prefecture rooted in a samurai library founded by the Hojo family in the Kamakura period. Adjacent to Shomyoji temple, it holds and exhibits valuable medieval materials including Buddhist scriptures and old documents.
