Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park was created over the former Nakajima district near the hypocenter. With the Cenotaph, the Peace Memorial Museum, and the Atomic Bomb Dome aligned on a single axis, it is the center of remembrance where the annual peace ceremony is held.
