A cherry path on the Mint Bureau grounds open to the public only one week a year, at peak bloom. About 130 varieties of late cherry (yaezakura) line roughly 340m, the symbol of Osaka's spring. A place to see rare varieties all in one spot.

Osaka's signature hanami spot, with thousands of cherry trees lining about 4.2km along both banks of the Okawa. The scenery of river, blossoms, and water bus blending is superb. The mecca of picnic-mat hanami.

A river pleasure boat running only during cherry-blossom season. The viewpoint of looking up at the blossom tunnel on both banks from the river is novel. A stretch to rest tired legs and enjoy the blossoms from a different angle.
