Just one stop from Umeda yet entirely different in mood, Nakazakicho is the 'sentimental neighborhood' Osaka locals love. Cafes and vintage shops set in century-old wooden nagaya (row houses) that survived the war hide in every alley — here, wandering without a map is the right answer. Great for photos and safe in the rain, with plenty of indoor cafes.
