Food and souvenirs at Warorot Market in the morning, hand-craft browsing at the Bo Sang umbrella village and Baan Kang Wat art village, a breather at the tunnel temple Wat Umong, and at night Chiang Mai's biggest attraction, the Sunday night market. (Best if it falls on a weekend.)

(On Saturdays the Wua Lai Saturday market is the alternative.)
