April 13–15 each year, Thai New Year. All of Bangkok becomes a festival of water guns and water balloons. A season-only route tying together Songkran hotspots — the mega water fight on Silom, the foreigner party on Khao San, and the club street of RCA. A waterproof pouch and water gun are essential.
